JuliaCon 2024: Presenting in My Hometown
This year, I had the unique opportunity to attend JuliaCon 2024 right here in my hometown of Eindhoven. It was a special experience to not only witness the global Julia community come together but also to contribute by presenting some of the exciting work I’ve been doing over the past year.
I was fortunate enough to give two presentations at the conference, both of which delve into different aspects of my recent projects. These presentations provided me with a platform to discuss some of the challenges I’ve encountered, the solutions we’ve developed, and how this work contributes to advancing the Julia ecosystem.
For those interested, both talks are available online:
- Presentation 1, where I discuss RxEnvironments.jl on the main stage (unfortunately without grass this time of year).
- Presentation 2, which focuses on GraphPPL.jl, my Probabilistic Programming Language for RxInfer.jl.
It was an inspiring week filled with insightful conversations, new connections, and fresh perspectives. I look forward to continuing to collaborate with others in the Julia community and seeing where this journey takes me next!
